Last dance for the refinery in Collombey-Muraz

The inexhaustible and fascinating subject of the dismantling of the TAMOIL refinery in Collombey-Muraz (VS) inspires the creativity of many artists. Another exhibition in the Canton of Valais is now dedicated to this subject. 

Cédric Raccio has staged the gigantic dismantling of the refinery with a video installation in which eight intertwined televisions simultaneously show scenes from the construction site. The artist from Monthey immerses us in a grandiose ballet - concrete and steel mingle in a mechanical dance to the raw sound of the machines. 

The exhibition entitled "CHORÉGRAPHIE MÉCANIQUE" can be seen from July 11th to September 21st 2024 at the Mediathek Wallis (Espace Dans L'Objectif) in Martigny.
