The TAMOIL DiplomaticCard is available to diplomats, permanent missions, embassies, consulates, and international organisations officially accredited in Switzerland, in accordance with the OFDF procedure.

Yes. The TAMOIL DiplomaticCard works at 100% of TAMOIL service stations in Switzerland.

Yes. The card can be linked to a specific vehicle registration number, ensuring controlled and compliant usage, which is the recommended setup for missions and organisations.

The DiplomaticCard is issued for official diplomatic use, in line with OFDF regulations. Usage conditions are defined during the application process.

Yes. Cardholders refuel as usual using their TAMOIL DiplomaticCard and PIN. Fuel is dispensed normally at the pump, and all applicable taxes (VAT and mineral oil tax) are deducted on the monthly tax-free invoice.

All fuel transactions are consolidated and invoiced monthly, tax-free, by Forax.

No action is required at station level. Tax exemption is handled automatically via the monthly invoice in accordance with the diplomatic framework.

The official online registration form is available now and is the mandatory first step to apply for the TAMOIL DiplomaticCard.

Communication regarding the old system is managed by the organisations currently operating it. The TAMOIL DiplomaticCard is fully independent and aligned with the new OFDF procedure effective from 1 January 2026.

Forax is TAMOIL’s official partner for the DiplomaticCard. They specialise in diplomatic tax-free services and manage card issuance, compliance checks, invoicing, and customer support.

Cardholders can access and review their transactions and invoices via the Forax online portal.
